AMD RX 6700 vs Nvidia RTX 3060

 

AMD recently launched a new AMD RX 6700 10GB RDNA2 GPU and it is available to buy for $369 from Newegg.

Today we tested it against Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB which is also similarly priced at $379 which makes them direct competitors.

We Tested 14 Games at 1080p , 1440p and 4K Resolutions

1080p Benchmarks in 14 Games

At 1080p Resolution, AMD RX 6700 is 27% Faster than Nvidia RTX 3060 on average in 14 Games which is a noticeable difference considering the Price of Both GPUs.

1440p Benchmarks in 14 Games

Again At 1440p Resolution, AMD RX 6700 is 26% Faster than Nvidia RTX 3060 on average in 14 Games, this makes RTX 3060 look like a bad card for its price.

4K Benchmarks in 14 Games

At 4K Resolution, the performance difference decreased between RX 6700 and RTX 3060. Now AMD RX 6700 is 14% Faster than Nvidia RTX 3060 on average in 14 Games at 4K Gaming. But Still, AMD RX 6700 is a faster card than RTX 3060 for $10 less.

Conclusion:

Even if both cards are available at the same price, AMD RX 6700 is a faster card than RTX 3060. It beats RTX 3060 in every game for $10 Less. You should definitely go for RX 6700 unless you can find RTX 3060 at MSRP or you care about Nvidia DLSS, NVENC Encoder or you are an Nvidia Fan.
